So our time at Chiang Mai ended so off we went back on that sleeper train back down to Bangkok.
This time we had some follows this time on the train. Nikki and Ross managed to book the same train and the same bus and boat as us, so we could all travel down to Ko Tao together.

Craig and I decided to put our bags up on the top bunk and we both slept on the bottom. We both had a good nights sleep this way as we knew when we get into Bangkok we wait around for a few hours then jump on the VIP coach down to the island Ko Tao we knew we would get no sleep at all.
When we woke up in the morning, we woke up feeling ill really ill, I felt as if I couldn't carry on with travelling down to Ko Tao at all that day. I tried my best all day to get better but nothing was helping me at all.
As we didn't have anywhere to stay we left our bags in the DRO office and headed out to find a toilet ;-)
We then headed to the MBK centre. Amazing this is heaven for any shopaholic.
On the top floor was the food hall and games hall plus the cinema. Craig and I went for a game of bowling (Craig won by the way) and then we went to catch a film as we had to kill time off as we was getting picked up at 7pm (we arrived in bkk at 7am)

This is where we watch the England Vs Germany game. Less said about this the better |
After a greats night sleep I was feeling fine and dandy and could continue with our journey down to Ko Tao.
If we didn't stay that extra night in Bangkok I doubt we would of met these two mad heads. Lisa and Tommy, we spent so much time with these four (nikki and ross too) We travelled down to Ko Tao with them. We jumped on the VIP bus which is actaully quite good but it does get cold and the blankets they provide smell of dog. They play movie's on there too, we watched Shutter Island and Behind enemy lines 2.
After the films had finished it switched off and it was time to get some shut eye. At 5am we was woke up and told to get off the bus, and wait on the corner of this road along with around 15 other people. As we had just woke up none of us really knew what was going on.
This was the port just as the sun was rising. It was so quite, and chilled out as most people fell asleep on the benchs waiting for the boat to arrive.
It took us 3 hours to get from main land Thailand to the island of Ko Tao
