Krabi

It took us 6hours to get from Koh Phangnan to Krabi.
You might of seen Krabi on the news back in 2004 when the Tsunami hit Thailand? Where we stayed the Tsunami effected every person we spoke to. Not far from our bungalow was a monument in memory of all the people who lost their lives due to boxing day disaster.

We went to visit this monument, we didn't expect to see what we saw. Nobody had looked after it at all. There was meant to be two hands holding holding each other. Made of bronze and gold. The only thing left is the wooden housing, which looks a bit like a hut and the stone at the front which tells tourist what it is.

We had a great day when we went exploring, we took a wrong turn and ended up at an open air aquarium, we bumped into some workers there who told us to follow them, we was on a scooter and they was in the back of a pick-up truck. We didn't have a clue what they wanted to show us, but when we stopped it all made sense. They had two of the biggest fish in the pack of this waterproof truck we had ever seen. They weighed up at 110kgs each the biggest one looked about 6ft. They was moving these two fish to another pool which was bigger for them and they had the chance to mate.

When they moved the fish into the pools they told us to carry on around the corner where we coud see nemo. Well infact they couldn't speak English they said Nemo Nemo Nemo and pointed . We done as they said and we seen more nemo than there are DVD's.

Infront of where Nemo was there was 3 big pools, in the one to the left there was hundreds and hundreds of black tip fin reef sharks. In the other two pools there was other fish. We seen 3 TURTULS that swam straight up to us. One was in the middle pool and the other two was in the pool on the right.

We think that the pool on the right housed the mother and the child and the pool in the middle housed the father..

We found a beautiful beach. The tide was coming in pretty fast so we didn't spend as much time on here as we would of liked to.

Krabi was fairly quite. We seen so many older people there. There wasn't that many young people there.
